We noticed that many people, especially in Armenia, didn't really understand how important HR is. Even though they teach a lot about starting businesses, they often overlook HR. This made us join the KIDPRENEURS project. Our goal was simple: help schoolchildren learn more about HR, get interested in it, and know why it's crucial for businesses to succeed. Our approach for the KIDPRENEURS project involved three key components: dynamic presentations, interactive role-playing activities, and open Q&A sessions.We invested about three months in crafting the project, with enthusiastic involvement from our entire Human Capital team. The shared mission was to nurture interest in HR and contribute to its growth.
The project achieved remarkable outcomes: Student Engagement: Approximately 20 schoolchildren were introduced to the HR profession through engaging presentations and activities. Some expressed interest in volunteering within our work processes. Career Orientation: The project helped schoolchildren explore the HR field, broadening their career perspectives. International experts' involvement introduced fresh ideas, best practices, and real-world insights. Business Integration: Students now consider HR in their current and future business endeavors, enhancing project implementation.
2. Background check
We specialize in comprehensive background checks for organizations, ensuring the security and reliability of their workforce. Our recent collaboration involved conducting thorough checks for ACX International, a Singapore-based company with an exclusive presence in Armenia. ACX is dedicated to enhancing customer support and compliance in the digital assets industry, while also prioritizing team well-being and satisfaction
ACX International faced the challenge of maintaining a secure and trustworthy work environment while upholding its commitment to employee happiness. As the digital assets industry grew, ensuring that employees possessed clean backgrounds and were free from potential threats became imperative. Traditional HR practices often fall short in identifying red flags that could impact the organization's safety and success.
Our solution involved conducting meticulous background checks for 35 employees of ACX International. We leveraged a comprehensive approach that included scrutinizing Police and Ministry of Education records for convictions and authenticating diplomas. Our process also included obtaining Power of Attorney from employees for thorough checks, ensuring a complete and accurate assessment of their backgrounds.
The implementation of comprehensive background checks yielded significant outcomes for ACX International: Enhanced Safety and Security: By identifying potential risks, criminal histories, and other concerns, ACX International could ensure a safer work environment, protecting both its team and company interests. Confident Hiring Decisions: The background checks empowered ACX International to make well-informed hiring decisions. This enabled them to select candidates who aligned with their values and who were less likely to engage in misconduct or pose threats. Protection of Intellectual Property: Background checks helped ACX International prevent the hiring of individuals who might compromise sensitive information or engage in harmful activities within the company. Legal Compliance: By conducting checks within the bounds of the law and obtaining necessary permissions, ACX International ensured legal compliance while maintaining a thorough screening process. Our collaboration with ACX International exemplifies the crucial role that comprehensive background checks play in modern HR and recruitment. These checks go beyond conventional methods, providing a more accurate understanding of candidates' backgrounds, and ultimately contributing to a more secure and successful work environment.
3. Training & Hiring
We worked with Blumart, a renowned provider of premium Austrian furniture fittings. In an industry where specialized expertise is scarce, Blumart has been dedicated to enhancing the sector's skill pool. Recognizing the shortage of professionals in this field, Blumart embarked on a unique initiative to provide training, education, and employment opportunities for students. This approach not only benefits the industry but also contributes to nurturing emerging talent.
The furniture manufacturing industry faced a shortage of skilled professionals, particularly in the specialized field of furniture fittings. Blumart identified this gap and sought to address the challenge by creating a pipeline of well-trained and knowledgeable individuals who could contribute to the industry's growth. Providing students with the opportunity to gain real-world experience and employment aligned with their academic pursuits was a crucial objective..
Our solution involved offering training and employment for students. By bridging the gap between academia and industry, Blumart provided students with hands-on experience, exposure to real projects, and a chance to work with high-quality furniture manufacturing. This initiative aimed to not only fulfil the company’s need for skilled professionals but also empower students to excel in their chosen field.
New co-workers: The initiative resulted in the successful recruitment of 2 adept students as new co-workers, contributing to Blumart's operational excellence. Skill Enrichment: Students from University of Architecture and Construction gained practical skills and insights that complemented their academic learning, enhancing their employability in the furniture manufacturing industry. Industry Advancement: Blumart's efforts contributed to elevating the industry's standards by infusing it with fresh talent equipped with specialized knowledge and training Future Sustainability: By investing in students' growth, Blumart ensured the continuity of skilled professionals in the furniture manufacturing sector, fostering long-term industry sustainability.
4. Career opportunities for immigrants
We are deeply involved with Repat Armenia, an organization that focuses on facilitating repatriation by emphasizing three core principles: promoting the concept of returning to Armenia, offering personalized integration support, and advocating for government policies that encourage repatriation. We have also collaborated with Move2Armenia, a platform that provides comprehensive and verified information about the benefits and nuances of living in Armenia. Our partnership with these organizations has enabled us to contribute to their objectives and enhance immigrant and repatriate integration.
Following the Russian-Ukrainian war, a significant number of individuals were displaced and sought to find stability and opportunities in Armenia. However, the process of integration and finding suitable employment remained challenging. Both Repat Armenia and Move2Armenia faced the pressing issue of facilitating the smooth integration of immigrants and repatriates, including job placement, language learning, and career consulting.
Our collaboration with Repat Armenia and Move2Armenia entailed a comprehensive solution to address integration challenges: Job Placement: We worked closely with these organizations to help immigrants and repatriates find suitable employment opportunities aligned with their skills and experience. Having examined 45 profiles from Repat Armenia and meeting with 60 immigrants during Job Fair organized by Move2Armenia, we offered job opportunities to 10 immigrants. Armenian Language Lessons: Recognizing the importance of language proficiency for integration, we organized Armenian language lessons to aid individuals in communicating effectively within their new environment. HR and Career Consulting: Our expertise in HR and career consulting played a pivotal role in guiding immigrants and repatriates through the local job market, enhancing their understanding of career prospects and professional development opportunities.
The collaboration with Repat Armenia and Move2Armenia yielded impactful outcomes: Successful Integration: Immigrants and repatriates experienced improved integration into Armenian society, facilitated by language learning and culturally appropriate job opportunities. Career opportunities: Through job placement and HR consulting, individuals gained a better understanding of the local job landscape and were able to secure suitable positions. Empowerment: The initiative empowered immigrants and repatriates by providing them with the tools and knowledge to navigate the local environment effectively. Supportive Ecosystem: Repat Armenia and Move2Armenia were able to foster an environment that supported repatriation and integration, further contributing to the development of Armenia. Our involvement in aiding the integration of immigrants and repatriates after the Russian-Ukrainian war showcased the pivotal role that effective HR consulting and career guidance play in easing transition and establishing a stable foundation for individuals seeking a new beginning in Armenia.
